lunarbook

Launch the Lunarbook
Lunarbook, the Lunarmedia guestbook, began as a test of Flash 4's new capabilities. With the addition of dynamic text fields it was possible to create user initiated single letter animations. It had many complications associated - one being the trick to semi-automatically stripping each character of its spacing. As the engine for dynamic text positioning was ready it came to be known as the Lunartype. The second milestone was to create some interesting animations and extending the code with more capabilities. The final project was titled the Lunarbook with five different text movements.

In order to improve performance in buffering this version, 2002, of the 1999 release has been tweaked to work with a MS SQL database instead of its earlier connection to Microsoft Access.
