Lunarmedia, and the website, was registered and founded in 1999 by Anders Vindberg. Its physical daily operation is driven from Copenhagen Denmark.
Company spirit
The Lunarmedia identity can be described through four pivotal adjectives: Relaxed,
Adaptable, Powerful, and Serious. Relaxed as in we are comfortable knowing that we
know more than others and that we know who to contact if not. Adaptable as in we are
open towards new trends, subcultures, ideas, and technologies. Powerful as in we work
with drive and momentum and at the same time are fast decision makers. Serious as
in we leave no doubt behind!
Keeping all these considerations in mind a graphical expression was conceived that
would signify powerful and serious corporate identity in conjunction with signals of
relaxation and high levels of adaptability. To meet this challenge, two diverse cultures
were combined to get the message across.
Barcelona
The city of Barcelona manages to cater for the demands of the modern world whilst
ensuring that the new blends perfectly with the old – it appeals to the imaginative
side of Lunarmedia.
Singapore
Economists describe Singapore as a modern miracle because it has built its success
using one resource, its people. Lacking natural resources, Singapore’s strength is
it’s hardworking, adaptable, goal-oriented, and resilient multicultural population
– appeals to the hardcore business side of Lunarmedia.
Logo
The simple, slim, and wide typography of the logo symbolizes seriousness and
sharpness. The rocket (icon) signifies power, speed and new adventures, while
the smooth curves express a relaxed feel. Combined with the LUNARMEDIA name
the message is glorious ventures, high-end technology and strong determination
– yet in a relaxed and fun way. As a finishing touch LUNAR & MEDIA is given
separate colours to clarify and enhance the meaning.
